Welcome to A Swimmin’ Bear, a one-of-a-kind 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin located inside Parkside Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10.

Spanning three levels and approximately 3,000 square feet, plus additional deck space, this cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. With parking for approximately three vehicles and additional parking available throughout the resort, this home is perfect for families and group getaways.

A Swimmin’ Bear is the ONLY cabin in Parkside Resort featuring its own private indoor pool—making it the ultimate choice for year-round fun, rain or shine.

With multiple entertainment areas, private outdoor spaces, and a layout designed for both relaxation and fun, this cabin offers a truly unique Smoky Mountain experience.

Main Level

Guests enter via three steps or a convenient ramp, arriving on the main level where an open-concept layout connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room.

The dining table comfortably seats eight guests, with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar and four at the high-top table.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, glass-top stove and oven, dishwasher, and all cookware and utensils needed for your stay. Small appliances include a coffee maker, blender, and toaster.

The living room features floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light, along with a large sectional sofa, flat screen TV, and natural gas fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A futon is also available for additional sleeping.

This level also includes the first bedroom suite, featuring a king-size bed, flat screen TV, and deck access. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower.

Step outside onto the main-level deck to enjoy one of the more private outdoor spaces in the resort. This area includes a natural gas grill, oversized seating, rocking chairs, and a high-top table—perfect for relaxing in the fresh mountain air.

Upper Level

The upper level features a loft area with a two-player arcade game and flat screen TV, along with two additional bedroom suites and the private home theater.

One bedroom includes a king-size bed, flat screen TV, and a private balcony with rocking chairs. The private bathroom features a shower/tub combination.

The second bedroom features queen-size bunk beds, a flat screen TV, and a private balcony with rocking chairs. The private bathroom includes a walk-in shower.

The home theater features stadium seating for eight, Blu-ray player, and surround sound—perfect for movie nights or watching your favorite shows.

Lower Level

The lower level is where this cabin truly sets itself apart.

Here, you’ll find the fourth bedroom suite, featuring a king-size bed, flat screen TV, and deck access. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and can be accessed from both the bedroom and hallway.

Just beyond, step into your private indoor pool room—an exclusive feature unique to A Swimmin’ Bear. This space also includes a pool table, arcade game, wet bar, flat screen TV, and washer and dryer, creating the ultimate entertainment hub for guests of all ages.

Step outside onto the lower-level deck to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit—perfect for winding down after a day in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Additional Information

All televisions, including the theater room, feature Charter Cable.

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin.

Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 through October 1. Fire pits are available year-round.

Travel Information

During inclement weather, resort roads are maintained by on-site staff. Roads are wide, paved, and not steep for easy access throughout the property.

Parkside Resort is also motorcycle-friendly, offering flat paved parking suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
