Above The Rest – Luxury Smoky Mountain Cabin at Parkside Resort

Welcome to Above The Rest, a breathtaking 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin with an additional half bath, located inside Parkside Resort just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10.

Perfectly positioned on a private cul-de-sac, this cabin truly lives up to its name—offering some of the most expansive and unforgettable panoramic views in the resort.

Spanning three levels and approximately 3,562 square feet, this spacious cabin comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. With parking for approximately four vehicles and additional parking available throughout the resort, this home is ideal for families and group getaways.

From sunrise over the mountains to glowing sunsets that stretch across the horizon, the views from Above The Rest are nothing short of spectacular—visible from nearly every room and multiple outdoor living spaces.

Main Level

Guests enter via two steps to the front door or can walk around the wraparound deck, where the first glimpse of the sweeping mountain views immediately sets the tone for your stay.

Inside, the main level features a stunning open-concept layout with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Smoky Mountains like a living masterpiece.

The dining table comfortably seats 10 guests beneath striking real antler chandeliers, with additional seating for six at the breakfast bar.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, custom cabinetry, a refrigerator with icemaker, natural gas stove and oven, dishwasher, and all cookware and utensils needed for your stay. Small appliances include both a traditional coffee maker and Keurig, along with a blender/food processor and toaster.

The living room is designed to maximize both comfort and scenery, featuring plush seating, a large flat screen TV, and a natural gas fireplace. Whether you’re watching the big game or simply relaxing, the panoramic mountain views remain the true centerpiece of the space.

Step outside onto the main-level deck to fully experience the beauty of the Smokies. This outdoor living space includes an outdoor fireplace, flat screen TV, gas grill, dining table, and multiple seating areas—perfect for gathering while soaking in the endless views.

This level also includes the first bedroom suite, featuring a king-size bed, electric fireplace, flat screen TV, and direct deck access. The private bathroom includes a custom tiled walk-in shower.

Upper Level

As you make your way upstairs, you’re greeted by a dramatic catwalk overlooking the main living area and offering breathtaking 360-degree mountain views.

A cozy reading nook provides the perfect spot to relax with a book while taking in the scenery from above.

This level features two additional master suites, each offering a king-size bed, electric fireplace, flat screen TV, and private bathroom with a custom tiled walk-in shower.

Both bedrooms also include access to private decks with Adirondack chairs—creating your own personal space to enjoy peaceful mornings, quiet evenings, and unobstructed mountain views.

Lower Level

The lower level is designed for entertainment and gathering, beginning with a spacious game room featuring two 75-inch flat screen TVs, an 8-foot regulation pool table, 9-foot shuffleboard table, multicade arcade game, Golden Tee, and oversized wall games for added fun.

A kitchenette area includes a wet bar, mini refrigerator, wine and beverage fridge, and bar seating—perfect for relaxing while enjoying the game or conversation.

Just beyond the game room is the private home theater, featuring an 80-inch screen, two rows of luxurious theater seating, Blu-ray player, and surround sound—perfect for movie nights or catching your favorite shows.

This level also includes the fourth bedroom suite, featuring two queen-size beds, electric fireplace, flat screen TV, and deck access. The bathroom includes a shower/tub combination and can be accessed from both the bedroom and game room.

Step outside onto the lower-level deck and unwind in the private hot tub, perfectly positioned to take in the sweeping mountain views. An outdoor TV and seating area make this space ideal for relaxing at any time of day.

Additional Information

All televisions, including the theater room, feature Charter Cable.

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin.

Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 through October 1. Fire pits are available year-round.

Travel Information

During inclement weather, resort roads are maintained by on-site staff. Roads are wide, paved, and not steep for easy access throughout the property.

Parkside Resort is also motorcycle-friendly, offering flat paved parking suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
