Bear Necessities – Luxury Smoky Mountain Cabin at Parkside Resort

Welcome to Bear Necessities, a beautifully designed 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin located inside Parkside Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10.

Spanning three levels and approximately 2,500 square feet, plus additional deck space, this cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. With parking for approximately three vehicles and additional parking available throughout the resort, this home is perfect for families and group getaways.

With inviting living spaces, multiple entertainment areas, and relaxing outdoor features, Bear Necessities offers the perfect Smoky Mountain escape.

Main Level

Guests enter via two steps to the front door, arriving on the main level where an open-concept layout connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room.

The dining table comfortably seats six guests, with additional seating for four at the breakfast bar.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, glass-top stove and oven, dishwasher, and all cookware and utensils needed for your stay. Small appliances include a coffee maker, blender, and toaster.

The living room features plenty of natural light, a cozy natural gas fireplace, and comfortable seating, including a sleeper sofa. Enjoy the large flat screen TV or relax by the fire after a day of exploring.

This level also includes the first bedroom suite, featuring a king-size bed and flat screen TV. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and can be accessed from both the bedroom and main living area.

Step outside onto the main-level deck to enjoy the outdoor fireplace, outdoor TV, natural gas grill, and high-end gliders—perfect for relaxing while taking in the mountain air.

Upper Level

The upper level features a spacious second bedroom suite, offering two queen-size beds and a flat screen TV.

The private bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub, creating a relaxing retreat after a day in the Smokies.

Lower Level

The lower level is designed for entertainment and relaxation, beginning with a spacious game room featuring a pool table, arcade machine, large flat screen TV, and a wet bar with a mini refrigerator.

A washer and dryer are conveniently located in a nearby closet.

Just beyond the game room is the private home theater, featuring stadium seating for ten, Blu-ray player, and surround sound—perfect for movie nights or watching your favorite shows.

This level also includes the third bedroom suite, featuring a king-size bed and flat screen TV. The bathroom, accessible from both the bedroom and game room, includes a shower/tub combination.

Step outside onto the lower-level deck and unwind in the private hot tub while enjoying the peaceful mountain setting. An outdoor TV and additional seating make this the perfect place to relax.

Additional Information

All televisions, including the theater room, feature Charter Cable.

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin.

Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 through October 1.

Travel Information

During inclement weather, resort roads are maintained by on-site staff. Roads are wide, paved, and not steep for easy access throughout the property.

Parkside Resort is also motorcycle-friendly, offering flat paved parking suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
